3. The Ladies Auxiliary meets the second Wednesday of each  month at 1200 noon at the Killearn Country Club. Husbands and special guests of members are always welcomed (Click for more details).

  1. MOAA's raison d'ĂȘtre is advocacy for the uniformed services. 
    Our legislative goals for 2009 are:

    Sustain defense budget funding
    2 Sustain manpower increases
    3 Pursue needed fixes for wounded warriors and their families
    4 Resist shifting health care costs to beneficiaries
    5 Reverse Medicare/TRICARE payment cuts
    6 Repeal the requirement to deduct VA survivor benefits from military    Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) annuities
    7 End any deduction of VA disability benefits from military retired pay
    8 Restore military pay comparability
    9 Upgrade Guard/Reserve retirement and health programs
    10 Improve military family support

Also, ID cards are now being renewed at the National Guard Armory at 1225 Easterwood Drive.  All renewals are done Tuesday through Friday, from 9AM to 11AM and 1PM TO 3PM.  Please call Sgt. Lysa White at 850-245-0100 fir an appointment
