Regional Winter Foray

When: December 1 - 3, 2000

Where: Wakulla Springs State Park, Florida

Foray Activities:
Friday and Saturday: Buffet dinner was held in the dining room of the Edward Ball Lodge at Wakulla Springs State Park. Forays were led into the Leon Sinks Geological Site trails and the Florida Nature Conservancy site trails.

Guest mycologist: Dr. Tom Volk, mycologist from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, treated attendees to a high-tech computer presentation on the topic, "What Is a Species?"

Table walkaround: Identification of specimens collected during the foray was conducted on Sunday morning.
