These are really cute glass pieces.  Our guess is that the metal stemware was not as good as today, and these types of pieces would not hold up to continuous use in condiments such as mayonaisse, mustard, and relish.  They are only about 4" to 5" long, but are amazingly detailed.

These salad sets each include a fork and spoon.  They are still useful today, and make a wonderful addition to a depression era table setting.
