The Bead Society of North Florida is a non-profit organization that was formed in May 1993 as a forum for the study and exchange of information on bead and related subjects. We are doing through growing pains at the present time. We are looking for a new home for our meetings. For information contact Beads in a Can / Teeshirt Art at 850-383-1776. Besides lectures and "Show and Tell" evenings, the Society offers four newsletters a year (Jan./Feb./Mar., Apr./May/Jun., Jul./Aug./Sep., Oct./Nov./Dec.) and sponsors an annual Bead Bazaar open to the public on the first Saturday in May, where members may sell beads, beading and bead- related materials. It maintains a library for the use of members and gives them a discount on book purchases. It also sponsors classes and workshops.
