We're glad to hear of your interest in the Midnight Thorns Adventurer's Guild. Before ye
can be a fulfledged member, ye must take an oath to uphold our Code of Conduct. Upon ye
taking this oath, your application for membership will be considered. If ye are accepted,
ye will be placed as an initiate into the guild. This is a prilimary period, where ye
will be watched and observed to see if ye honor your oath. After this period is over,
ye will be able to choose one of our three divisions to join full membership or take on the title
of member. To join one of the divisions, you'll have to contact the division head to ask
them for permission to join their operations. So here, read this scroll that lays out our
Code of Conduct and take your oath.
Midnight Thorns Code of Conduct
- Always act with honor and uphold the good name of Midnight Thorns.
We as the Midnight Thorns have a reputation for being an honorable guild. Truth, valor,
honor, and integrity are the foundation of our code of conduct and must always be considered
before any action is taken. All members are expected to exhibit these qualities at all
times.
- Our call is to service.
Our mandate is one of service and aid. We reach out a hand to those in which we can,
even if only in a small fashion. Service to the guild it of utmost priority. We
maintain a bond of brotherhood and come to each other's aid wherever possible. This
mandate also extends beyond our own guild and to our allies as well. Kindness and
generosity course through our veins.
- Loyalty binds us as a brotherhood.
Loyalty is essential for any organization to thrive. We are no different. Our
members are expected to respect and honor each other in mind and in deeds. The
leadership are to be obeyed and supported. It goes without saying, but any violation
of loyalty, to include issues such as theft, attacking a clan member, disobedience, and other
acts that would hinder the unity of the guild will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with.
