2013 Results

UCLA adds Mississippi State to its list of victims as it sweeps through the tourney to win its first CWS championship.

Like the regionals, there were lots of first-round upsets. The 1-4 and 2-3 teams ended up in the loser's bracket.
First teams eliminated were Louisville and Collegiate Baseball #1 LSU.

The seedings and standings are structured to reflect the fact that we have, in effect, a structure identical to a pair of regionals feeding into a best 2-of-3 super regional for the championship.

Records are from after the Super Regionals, before CWS. Only the Collegiate Baseball poll has been updated after the regionals started. That poll is simply dated 6/11, but the web page internal data (and the rankings) suggest it was not done until after N. Carolina beat S. Carolina on Tuesday (6/11) afternoon. (That series was delayed by Tropical Storm Andrea and other storms.) Baseball America has not updated its poll since 5/27, the end of the regular season.
The ranking produced by Boyd Nation before regional play (5/27) is listed under ISR, while that after the Super Regionals is under ISR'.
