NCAA Baseball
Regional Results
1994

An update, with order of finish, for the NCAA regionals. Might help speculation about the World Series seeding. Notice that the Record is the pre-tournament record; ditto for the rankings. Kind of a toss up as to whether the seedings or the polls were more accuarate.

Thanks again to R_Rollins for the conference info via the NCAA -- but any mistakes are my own. I will post a 'scorecard' by conference a bit later for discussion's sake. For now it is interesting to observe that home teams were 3-5, just off the historical rate, and that four #1, three #2, and one #3 seeds advanced.

I also have an analysis of performance grouped by conference.

Here are the attendances for the regionals, or why t.u. will always

Texas will cut the NCAA a record $160,000 check
Think the NCAA would pass that up? What Happens
when the Horns have a losing season? The NCAA
will have to hire new umpires :)
