New members are often confused about what their role is each meeting. Sometimes, even experienced Toastmasters can forget some of the important parts of their role for the meeting. Please chech here early in the week and review the duties for your assigned roles.
TOASTMASTER: The Toastmaster is the facilitator of the meeting. You are in charge of how the meeting is run and making sure that all responsibilities are covered.
GENERAL EVALUATOR The General Evaluator is in charge of the Evaluation Team. You will lead the evaluation portion of the meeting and call on each member of the evaluation team. You will also call each member of the Evaluation Team early in the week to remind them of their meeting role. After you have called the speech evaluators, grammarian, AH counter, timer and vote counter to verify that they will be at the meeting, call the Toastmaster and let him know so that he can print the agenda. When the Toastmaster calls on you at the beginning of the meeting, introduce your evaluation team. When you are called on after Table Topics, you will go to the lecturn, introduce each evaluator in turn, make a few general comments about how the meeting went, and then reintroduce the Toastmaster.
SPEECH EVALUATOR Your job is to evaluate one of the speeches presented.
