The purpose of the LA-MOAA is to promote fellowship and to welcome and to assist military officers' families, active duty and retired.
Membership is open to wives of officers and warrant officers of the uniformed services; women officers and warrant officers; and widows of retired and active duty officers and warrant officers.
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Military Officers Association of America, Tallahassee, although affiliated with The Military Officers Association of America, Tallahassee Chapter (Tal-MOAA), is a separate organization. Annual dues are $12, payable in January. Many members of the Auxiliary are also Associate members of Tal-MOAA.
Meetings of the Ladies Auxiliary are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Killearn Country Club at noon. Deadline for all reservations is noon the Monday before the meeting.
The "Friendship Luncheon" for members and friends is held each February, September and December. Guests, family and prospective members are welcome at any meeting.
