In-Sink-Erator disposers come with warranties starting from 1
year for
their bargain basement model all the way up to 7 years for their
top-of-the-line.
Big woo; any disposer that doesn't last 25 years is a piece of
junk.
These things may sit in the kitchen sink for years, but there's not a
lot
of actual running hours of operation involved. Obviously, if the
thing doesn't burn up the first time you use it, it's going to outlast
the warranty. So, don't put any stock in the length of the
warranty
unless you find a company willing to give you what disposers should
come with: a lifetime warranty.
