About George Penick
Gas Tank Collection
During a visit to a small KTM shop in South Carolina while on an off road ride, I stumbled upon an NOS Penton gas tank. I decided to buy it and start a collection. Why a gas tank collection? As you know, I have a thing for motorcycles and would love to own a garage full, but the cost and space concerns are a problem, and since I have learned to identify bikes mostly by looking at their fuel tanks, it was a natural. Over the years, I've added a few more, trying to locate odd, interesting, and intriguing examples. I now have models from most countries. If you happen to have access to something INTERESTING, please let me know. The tank does not need to be in great shape, some of these are banged up on the opposite side and Iíve repainted most of them.
