WHAT IS SIN?

   What is sin? As defined by the Holman Bible Dictionary: Actions by
which humans rebel against God, miss His purpose for their life, and
surrender to the power of evil rather than to God. 

   Who is a sinner? for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God. (Romans 3:23)

   Why is everyone a sinner? Sin entered the world through Adam (actually
Eve, but God held Adam accountable as the head of the family) therefore,
just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and
in this way death came to all men, because all sinned-- (Romans 5:12)

   What is the consequence of sin? For the wages of sin is death...
(Romans 6:23)

   The bad and the GOOD NEWS! If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior, death is at the end of your life. For the saved, death is in
the middle of their life for: the gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) How can I get rid of this sinful nature?
