Many Wakulla County hams are interested in emergency communications, and participate in the simplex net every Wednesday evening. For the purpose of emergency communications, we have developed a map that shows the location of those operators that have expressed an interest in being alerted when an emergency arises. Look at the map, and if your call does not appear and you would like to be involved when a disaster occurs, please be sure to inform us at KC4MHM (my callsign)@nettally.com .

We periodically practice sending and receiving traffic from other operators during the net. If you are interested in participating, you will need to print out one of the following forms:
Original Radiogram

Updated Radiogram
Both of these forms came from the ARRL website. If handling traffic interests you, take a few minutes and study up on the correct proceedures. Additional information concerning ARRL RADIOGRAMS can be found here . Included is a listing of the ARRL number list and and definitions of precedences.
