Minutes of Meeting
Date: May 16, 2002
The Meeting was called to order by Bob Crawford at 7:40 PM
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Warner Garrison (Treasurer) read the treasurers report.
Bob reported that Emergency Management has five repeaters that it wished to donate to the club. All are in good condition and cover either VHF or UHF bands. Carl offered to pick them up at any time.
Bob reported that about half of the usable commercial tower that has been given to the club has been moved to his place. About half of the scrap tower has been taken to the scrap yard.
Bob reported that Linda is planning to get a YL net started after field day.
There will be a weather class given in Wakulla County in the near future to train Hams to observe and report severe weather to Skywarn. Bob will schedule the class. Two weeks notice will be given.
Carl announced that there will be an EAA Fly-in at the Quincy Airport on 5/18. He asked for volunteers to help ithe operations and communications.
Also on Saturday at the state EOC there will be an ARES meeting relating to emergency communications. All are invited.
Bob asked for web site manager volunteers. Nobody stood up.
Bob announced that antenna materials are available through the club.
Wakulla County VE exams will be held on 6/11 at the shrine Club at 7:00 P. M.
We will operate class 2A in the field day.
The Half and Half produced $15.00. Yours truly won $7.50.
