| | Troop 16 was founded in January of 1993 and held its first meeting in March of that year. Our sponser organization is Deer Lake United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida.
With 53 registered scouts and 27 registered adult leaders, Troop 16 is a very active troop that meets Monday evenings at 7:00.
Troop 16 has monthly camping trips and yearly high adventure trips to one of the three National High Adventure camps (Northern Tier, Florida Sea Base, or Philmont Scout Ranch), or the National Jamboree.
