New Landscaping Project

The grounds surrounding the cemetery underwent quite a few changes in the first 3 months of 2009.  All of the crowded willow oaks (planted when the property was leased to a tree farm) have been removed from the front and left sides of the property.  In their place are 12 very beautiful and large (twelve foot) "Claudia" magnolias.   In addition, the stumps from the old white pines cut down in 2005 have been removed, greatly improving the looks too.  The only living witness since the cemetery's inception - the very large and majestic post oak tree in front - has had minor punning to improve its health.   As the magnolias mature, they will provide a dignified visual embrace of the cemetery for the next 100 years.
