Welcome to Julius Leo Heinis's

My name is Julius Leo Heinis. I am a Ph.D. (Oregon State 1954) and Emeritus   Professor of Botany (from Florida A&M University). I run a small apartment   complex in Tallahassee. In Gadsden County I own 102 acres of pines I planted   in 1984. They grow very well, thank you. The forest was thinned early in 1999 and next thinning will be in 2004.

My wife Margaret has been around me for, let's see, since 1952, and our 4 kids   are grown up. Click here to read daughter Andrea's home   page. She is a musician. Jimmy the oldest son receives mail here. He works as a chemist in North Carolina.

Since retirement I have been using my brains to work with a 486 IBM type computer that lets me go on-line, do music, do gifs, jpegs, avis,and other interesting things.

I am interested in tropical fruit, flying to the Caribbean, and all of North America. While there, I enjoy seeing flowers, tropical fruit,and swimming in the ocean.

On one of my last long flights, I was to New York where I got to see Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular. Those kicking beautiful girls really did it for me!
