OUR PHILOSOPHY
Politics in Florida and in the country has become too partisan. Too many leaders are uncivil, arrogant, disrespectful, and close-minded. This leads to stand-offs rather than negotiation, and typically results in laws and policy that increase divisiveness instead of building consensus.
We believe that any political disagreement should ideally result in a win-win resolution. But we acknowledge that that is rarely possible. However, it is not necessary to settle on a win-lose resolution either. Through non-partisan, civil, humble, respectful, open-minded negotiation with a willingness to compromise, a mostly win-mostly win resolution is possible. We will strive to that end in all issues facing the State of Florida.
OUR APPROACH
We will lead the State of Florida with non-partisan civility, humility, respect, open-mindedness and willingness to compromise when necessary to move Florida forward. We will work to resolve any controversial issue through civil, respectful conversations involving all major concerned stakeholders, allowing all parties to present science/evidence based arguments for their position, along with their rationale for their position. Participants unwilling to discuss all positions civilly and open-mindedly will be replaced with a participant with a similar position that is willing to listen and participate open-mindedly. All decisions and resulting action will be made with respect for the Florida and US constitutions.

ROLE OF GOVERNOR
If you're fed up with the radical partisanship in
the Florida Governor's race, you are not alone and you
have an alternative. The major party candidates are both among the extremes of
their party, focused on advancing their agendas instead of on moving Florida
forward. Hal Johnson and Tim Hayes will work with all parties to arrive at
evidence-based solutions to Florida's most pressing problems, rather than stick
to radical positions that lead to gridlock.

Now that the partisan attacks are again in full
swing between the major party candidates, its time
for Floridians to let them know that we are looking for a LEADER as governor,
not a politician. We need someone who will respect everyone's opinion and work
to build consensus rather than continuing to "toe the party line" no
