Mission

The mission of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee is to provide a liberal, religious community in the Tallahassee area -- a community of open hearts and minds which nurtures vision, unites and empowers and supports each person's spiritual quest and service to others.

Our vision is of a growing, caring congregation

WHICH is dedicated to the principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association

WHICH fosters a sense of community

WHICH provides opportunities for spiritual and intellectual enrichment, and emotional support to its members

WHICH provides religious education and a nurturing community for its children

WHICH welcomes people of different racial, ethnic, and cultural groups, different sexual orientations, and different religious and political preferences

WHICH respects the diverse interests of its members in an atmosphere of freedom, reason, and tolerance

WHICH focuses, mobilizes, and makes visible UU principles in Tallahassee and the surrounding area

And, IN WHICH members personally contribute and participate in a spirit of stewardship and giving aimed at accomplishing our mutual goals and better serving the broader community.
