Status 8/7/04 : Well the race is on... we have 60 days to finish the house... so lets get down to it... my updates will be short and to the point ... we frankly cause I need to be building and not talking about it... there is a ton of time to chat about it after we are finished ... to the pictures...

well the framing is done and the framers are paid...  we also had the painter out and the siding is painted... yes it is a grey fog color with white trim...

west end of the house.. got to remind the painters to take their masking paper down...

the French doors will be painted white... I think they look better than with the grey..

the column are installed and painted... the porches are furred out for vinyl...

I have also blocked both porches for the fans that will be installed..

Oh I also took some time to put the first coat of paint on the Garage floor...

I did take some time to build some saw horses ... got tired of barrowing Neal's..

I got tired of waiting for someone to frame in the Knee wall for the breakfast bar... so I got off my ass and did it myself...

HAVC is now roughed in ... as well as the electrician is doing his rough in...

This is a picture of one off the bathroom vents thru the roof...

We are waiting on the vinyl guys to finish to place asphalt shingles... the first vinyl guys quit so we will have a new crew on Monday... we also have had the bricks delivered... tile comes in on Tuesday... We hope to have sheet rock going up in the next 2 weeks... but we will see... have insulation and finish the wiring... a lot to do... very little time left to do it ... well that is all for now ... look for the next update coming soon...
